Modern Microcurrent
Masterclass

THE MICROCURRENT MAPPING METHOD™
MICROCURRENT BECOMES A LOT EASIER WHEN YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU’RE ACTUALLY SEEING.
Most trainings teach routines.
This course teaches you how to assess the face, identify what's driving the concern,
and build treatment strategies
that match the face in front of you.
You already know microcurrent works.
The results are real. But sometimes they aren't predictable.
A client books a series, you follow the protocol, and halfway through the quiet panic starts: Is this working? Did I overpromise? What if she doesn't see enough change?
Most microcurrent training teaches you what to do. Very little teaches you how to assess the face—or why the same protocol can produce completely different results on different faces.
That's why results can feel inconsistent. Not because microcurrent doesn't work. Not because you're doing it wrong. But because nobody taught you how to read the face before you picked up the wands.
I'm Erin Roberts—RN, esthetician, and educator.
For years, I thought better results were hiding inside a different machine. But the biggest shift in my results didn't come from changing equipment. It came from learning how to assess the face before I treated it.
Eventually, I realized something: two clients can have the exact same complaint and need completely different treatment plans.
A client says she wants help with her jowls. But what's actually causing them? Muscle? Fluid? Structure?
The answer changes everything.
The Microcurrent Mapping Method™ was built to help you identify the difference.

INTRODUCING THE MICROCURRENT MAPPING METHOD
Every face tells you what it needs — if you know how to look.
The Microcurrent Mapping Method is built around three layers:
MUSCLE
Tone loss • Tension patterns • Asymmetry
This is where microcurrent does its strongest work — when you know which muscles to target and why.
FLUID
Lymphatic congestion • Puffiness • Heaviness
Fluid mimics muscle problems but requires a completely different approach. If you're toning over congestion, you're working against yourself.
STRUCTURE
Bone remodeling • Fat pad descent • Tissue thinning
These changes are fixed. They don't respond to toning. Recognizing structural change is how you set honest expectations and protect your credibility.
Most faces are a mix of all three. The skill isn't memorizing protocols. It's identifying what's dominant and building a treatment plan that matches the face in front of you.
That's what this course teaches.
The problem isn't technique.
It's assessment.
What You’ll Learn:

Everything inside this course is designed to help you become a more confident, more thoughtful, and more skilled microcurrent provider.
Facial Anatomy for Microcurrent
Not textbook anatomy. Functional anatomy — which muscles matter for microcurrent, how they behave, and how their behavior changes your treatment decisions.
The microcurrent mapping method
The full three-layer assessment framework. Learn to identify what's muscle, fluid, and structure — and determine what's dominant before you start treating.
Technique & Application
Placement, pressure, direction, and movement — built on anatomical reasoning, not memorized routines. Understand why you're placing the wands where you're placing them.
Treatment strategy
How to customize a session based on what the face actually needs. Sequence drainage before toning. Set expectations for structural cases. Build plans with intention.
Machine-Neutral Education
This course teaches principles, not brand protocols. Whatever machine you're working with, this applies.
WHO THIS COURSE IS FOR:
This course is for the esthetician who already knows something is missing.
You've taken the manufacturer training. You can operate your machine. But you're still following protocols instead of reading faces — and you can feel the difference.
You're the one who gets anxious mid-series because you're not sure whether what you're seeing is progress or wishful thinking. You're the one who promised a visible lift and then spent twelve sessions hoping it would show up. You're the one who knows there's a deeper level to this but can't find anyone teaching it.
This isn't for estheticians who want a shortcut. It's for the ones who want to understand.

"I'd owned a microcurrent machine for years but never felt confident using it. This course changed that. I finally understand what I'm doing and feel excited about incorporating microcurrent into my treatments."
- Lesley Aluffi

"A client told me she wanted the exact facial her daughter-in-law had because she looked incredible. When I checked my notes, I'd used your techniques. That was a first for me."

why this course exists
I built this course because of a client who changed the way I think about microcurrent. Early in my practice, I planned a twelve-session microcurrent series for a woman in her seventies. She invested her time and her money. She trusted me. And at the end of all twelve treatments, there was no visible change.
At the time, I didn't understand why. She wasn't a difficult client, and I wasn't a bad esthetician. Looking back, she simply wasn't an ideal candidate for the result we were hoping to achieve—and I had no framework for recognizing that. The training I received was simple: if they're this age, do this many treatments.
That experience forced me to ask better questions. What was I actually looking at? Why did some clients respond beautifully while others barely changed? What was driving the concern in the first place? The Microcurrent Mapping Method came from searching for those answers, and I built this course so you can learn how to assess the face before you build the treatment plan.

"Two longtime clients were genuinely wowed by their results. The confidence I gained from this training helped me increase my pricing."
- Diedre Mikkelson
